Here del F and Del C are variables like x and y. so x = 1.8*y. Hence when y moves by 100, x moves by 180.
y is del C and x is del f so, 180 change in F = 100 change in C
You are not treating delF and delC as variables when you say 1delF = 1.8 delC..
